FONT

Remember
  • Use sans-serif fonts (Arial, Verdana, Helvetica) to display text on the web.  Serif fonts can sometimes make text hard to read on a computer screen.
  • Size your font properly for the page.
  • Do not use too many different fonts on a website, and generally do not mix different fonts on an individual page.
  • Make sure that the font you choose will display properly in different browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, AOL); do not use a proprietary font.

Consider an example
  • Diane Thompson's Troy site uses an Arial font, but she also varies font size in the different sections of the web page.
