SCROLLING

Remember
  • There are two types of scrolling on a web page:  vertical for scrolling up and down a long page; horizontal for scrolling back and forth across a wide page.  Avoid horizontal scrolling, i.e., NO horizontal scrolls.  A vertical scroll should be at most two or at most three screens up and down.  If your page is longer than that, then break it into multiple pages.
  • Try to get the home, or first, page of a website on a single screen.
