The first layout of my free advice page was a simple table (border of 1 pixel) with text and images alternating left and right down the page. Notice that there was a lot of unorganized white space. The second version of the layout was still a table, but I was experimenting with placement of the text descriptions closer to the images. I was also experimenting with image dimensions, but it is hard to tell that. The third version was much different, partly because I switched to using a style sheet. Note that I changed the font and font size of the header, removed the table border, changed the font of the descriptions and also moved the images around a bit. In the fourth version I started working on the links. For example, clicking on the text description for #1 leads to a pop-up window with more explanation. (The pop-up window won't work correctly on this sample page.) I hope that this sequence of pages gives you some example of how you can experiment with page layout and design as you create a page. You can also view the finished advice page.
