The memorial to the victims of Nazi Germany at Auschwitz-Birkenau. It is not surprising that there has been a lot of controversy over the years to the exact details of the museum and memorials at Auschwitz and to whom the memorials should be devoted. Since the site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is considered a large graveyard as the ashes of the victims were scattered everywhere, visitors to Auschwitz, while allowed to roam freely around the acres of the complex, are supposed to be respectful of the site.
