This is a photo of the walls of the Novodevichy Convent in Moscow. The convent, which dates to the sixteenth century, was once also a medieval fortification protecting Moscow--it is now within the Moscow city limits, actually not too far from the Kremlin. If you are familiar with Google Earth, here are the coordinates of the church:
Latitude: 55°43'33.04"N
Longitude: 37°33'21.25"E

This is a photo of the Church of the Conception of St. Anne (Церковь Зачатия Праведной Анны) in Moscow, just off Red Square in Moscow. The church is very old and dates to the 1500s.

I asked Jennifer, who was the first to identify it, how she did it, and she replied: "I noticed it looked like a Russian building and decided to see if my sister who studied Russian in college and studied abroad in Moscow took any pictures or remembered this building.  She said it looked like it was on the Moscow River and from there I googled Moscow's churches and found this website. http://www.midwinter.com/~koreth/russia/moscow-churches/.

If you are familiar with Google Earth, here are the coordinates of the church:
Latitude: 55°45'0.85"N
Longitude: 37°37'51.95"E
