I would never have believed that Confucius' grave survived to the present, but here it is in Qufu in Shandong Province--although no one is exactly sure that he is really buried there in his family cemetery. The standing stone in the center dates to the fifteenth century and is allegedly inscribed: "Grave of the Sacred King of Culture, who achieved Absolute Perfection." (Wikipedia has more information.) Citing specific evidence from Confucius' The Analects (not from the textbook), explain some of the characteristics of ideal government according to Confucius.
