How to Access Britannica Online at NOVA

To access the online version of Britannica Academic

Preferred option to access databases is through myVCCS Portal.

1. Login via the myVCCS portal with your myNOVA username and password.
2. Return to the library website at www.nvcc.edu/library.
3. On the Libraries page, under the Articles tab, click Databases A-Z.
4. Under "B," click on the link for Britannica Academic.

Sometimes this way works

• Go to www.nvcc.edu/library/
• On the Libraries page, under the Articles tab, click Databases A-Z
• Under "B," click on the link for Britannica Academic.
• You will be prompted for your username and password. Use the same combo that you use when you login into MyNova (Novaconnect) and/or Canvas.
• You can then search the encyclopedia for your term.
