VISITING SCHOLARS
At the conference, six visiting scholars will present specific
innovative uses of technology in the humanities and note their own perspectives on the
changing nature of humanities education. Although these technology models originate in
different disciplines, for example, history, literature and art history, and use different types of
source material, for example, archival or photos, all share the common feature of a new approach to the humanities
as a result of applied technology. These presentations by visiting scholars will provide
models of provocative curricular and content innovation in the humanities for the teams.
