Venerable Townsman Passes Away Thursday Afternoon
Six Years Suffering
After a prolonged illness of six years, as announced in these columns last week, Squire Henry Kuntz, ex-chief Burgess, president of the Slatington Slate Company, one of the pioneering slate operators of this region and one of the town's wealthiest and influential citizens, died at his home at "Breezy Villa" at 3 o'clock on Thursday afternoon of a complication of ailments, aged 74 years, 7 months and 28 days.
